I heard him singing sea songs in the inn. It was amazing! I want to hear all of his stories, where he's been and what the sea is really like. He said he'd teach me to sail and to navigate.
I borrowed his boat. It hadn't ended well but he didn't yell at me.

We ran into each other when everyone was cleaning the Town Hall. He was losing against a curtain. Apparently he's not used to this either. It was a little funny.
He's easy to talk to and I decided that I like him.
In a lot of ways we're alike. We both have people that we need to look after and things to do. We both seek our fathers good attention and feel like we disappoint them. He's helped me see a lot about myself and I don't think he realizes it. Either way, I'm grateful to have met him.

He found me after I fell off the side of the cliff and brought me back to the inn. We've talked a few times since then. I've told him some of my worries and he's spoken to me a lot like my own father had in the past. I feel like I owe him in a way that I could never pay him back.
I trust his advice.

Over time, there are things that get buried but we never forget them. That is what dancing is like and I can tell that Bucky is a dancer. We met near the water and we shared the dances from our home. It was fun watching him try though he was a little stiff.
He also helped me and Itiiti out during the earthquake. I really do want to find a way to thank him if I can.

We spoke after I found the Heart of Ta Fiti at the base of the waterfall near the canyon wall. She didnt know what to make of it either and it was a little hard to explain. I spoke with her again when the green glow began to flicker and fade… I dont know what it means but Im worried. Im glad she was there for me, even when she didn’t know what to say.

He said a lot of things that I didn't understand: coffee, fried foods and hipsters. I don't really understand but I guess I'm getting used to that. He also isn't very funny but he tries and sometimes I feel bad for not laughing. He did say he'd tell me what coffee tasted like. I told him about my island and he told me about a place called Seattle. It was a little awkward since he caught me saving a chicken...
He introduced drugs to me. It isn't like I haven't experianced something like it before but it was different. He had said that I should ask him to dance when he was either drunk or high... does this count?

He burned his hand and then didn't want my help and then he kept laughing at me. I shouldn't have tried his drink. He's frustrating but I don't know if he's really like that or if it's the drink or the burn on his hand. He's so weird.
He went to fighting practice but he said it was to just watch people. I admit, thanks to him, I've started to look at people like that too...

I tried to help her. She knows Rory but other than that I don't know a lot about her. I told her about my island and Ta Fiti. She asked if it wasn't just a story, if my time with the ocean wasn't just a dream. I didn't know what to say to her about it.
With Rory gone I wanted to help. I hope I was able to help... so many people are leaving.

He was taking care of a squirrel in the forest. He's such a good mother. He reminded me a bit of my mother... It was weird.
Newt has helped me a few times, both times involved Itiiti. I think I was really lucky that he was there. He's my friend and hopefully he seems me that way too.

I don't know her very well but she's probably the youngest person I've met here. It was interesting teaching her how to dance.
We also jumped into the river together. She's a lot of fun. Reminds me that I might have grown up a little to fast. It's nice to let loose.

She was one of the first people I met here. I like her. She was nice enough to lead me to a warm place and tell me a little bit about this world. The houses are weird, a lot of it is weird and I can't get home. So I'm going to do what I can here. Even if it isn't very much.
The gods gave her powers to detect lies. I can't say that I understand it but it's interesting. I hope it's as much of a gift as it seems. Peggy has been thinking about it a lot and testing it out. She looked excited and very thoughtful. I now understand what I probably looked like to my father when I talked about the ocean.

Not really sure what to think of him. I think we should work together but I get the impression that he's more focused on himself. He is a very focused person. I can't really tell if he's good or bad. I did lead him to the Inn so he's at least in a warm place.

He said that the fish were too frozen to speak so I asked about the ocean. Where there is water, there is the sea but it might be silent too. It's troublesome. We talked a bit about our gods. It was really neat and I was able to learn a lot about him. He also gave me a spare cloak he had. I like it better than the jacket.
I saw him later off to the side. Thorfinn looks like the type of person who spends a lot of time by himself. We talked about fishing and we said we'd trade a few things. I'm a little excited to have something to do. He said he'd show me around the village and the plants. There was something wrong but I didn't ask him what it was. I hope everything here is as nice as it seems to be. I'm a little worried.
